The 2017 America’s Cup is the 35th edition of the America’s Cup yacht race. The finals will begin Saturday, 17th of June 2017. The Challenger Emirates Team New Zealand, (winner of the 2017 Louis Vuitton Cup) will race against the Defender, Oracle Team USA (winner of the 2013 America’s Cup). The contests will be piloted using hydro-foiling AC50 America’s Cup Class yachts. The past and stature linked to the America’s Cup entices the world’s best sailors and yacht engineers along with affluent financiers and promoters. It is a trial of nautical ability and boat and sail enterprise, but also of organization and financing skills.
Due to the weekend and a holiday, Gavin and Wyatt have longer to get their biscuits in order. It is a good thing as it seems the canines are running to make the tax filing deadline on the 18th of April.

UAW workers and retirees will celebrate White Shirt Day to honor the Flint sit-down strike successful conclusion in Flint Michigan on February 11, 1937. The white shirts are worn as a tribute to the Flint strikers who became the bargaining agent in talks with GM. The 44-day strike was meant to tell management that “blue collar” workers should a accorded the same respect as their management counterparts, according to UAW officials. As a result – Local 598 was born.
